Rituals of Diwali Pooja

With this, now you will require other essentials like chowki, Kalash, fresh mango leaves, sweets, dryfruits, diya, incense sticks holder, Diwali pooja thali, red cotton cloth, one silver coin, beetle leaves and beetle nuts.  First of all clean the chowki, now place red cotton cloth over it. Make swastika using roli, haldi and Kumkum. You can now place the idols of goddess Laxmi and Ganesha on it. Place a Kalash filled with water over it and then decorate it with mango leaves. You can now lit diya and incense stick. Offer Akshat and roli to the idols. Start saying slokas and chalisas. Now, do the arti. You can now offer Prasad to god and then offer it to the members of the house. In this way, you can complete the Diwali ritual in the most decent manner and also impress goddess Laxmi so that she may bestow her blessings on you and your home.
